Position Overview: The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will be a pivotal member of the executive leadership team, responsible for driving all revenue-generating activities within the EMEA and India markets. This includes leading sales, revenue operations, customer success, and go-to-market strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scaling B2B SaaS businesses, deep expertise in the EMEA and India markets, and a passion for building and optimizing high-performing teams. With over 15 years of experience in revenue operations, sales leadership, P&L management, and a background as a former entrepreneur or co-founder, the CRO will play a critical role in achieving our ambitious growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Strategy and Growth:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue strategy tailored to the EMEA and India markets.
- Define and oversee revenue goals, forecasting, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and channels to drive growth.
Sales Leadership:
- Lead and mentor high-performing sales teams across EMEA and India to achieve and exceed targets.
- Establish a scalable sales framework that includes pipeline management, account planning, and sales enablement.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Revenue Operations and P&L Management:
- Oversee revenue operations, ensuring seamless alignment between sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
- Manage the P&L for the EMEA and India regions, ensuring profitability and efficient resource allocation.
- Implement data-driven decision-making processes to optimize pricing, customer acquisition costs, and lifetime value.
Customer Success and Retention:
- Collaborate with the customer success team to enhance customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion.
- Develop strategies to upsell and cross-sell solutions to existing clients.
- Act as a trusted advisor to key customers and partners, ensuring strong relationships and long-term loyalty.
Market Expertise and Thought Leadership:
- Stay ahead of market trends, competitive dynamics, and industry developments within the EMEA and India regions.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings as a thought leader.
- Leverage market insights to influence product development and innovation.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 15+ years of experience in sales, revenue operations, and P&L management within the B2B SaaS industry.
- Deep understanding of the EMEA and India markets, including cultural nuances, regulatory landscapes, and business practices.
- Proven track record of scaling revenue in high-growth SaaS organizations.
- Experience as a founder, co-founder, or entrepreneur, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in working within a startup or entrepreneurial environment is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
